Thank you for taking the time to visit Singing the Pavilion Blues in the Louisa Martindale Building’s Heritage Space. This exhibition is in partnership with Brighton & Hove Museums and is generously sponsored by Blatchford Mobility.
Singing the Pavilion Blues is a Disability History Month exhibition remembering our Armed Forces by reflecting the stories of the Pavilion Blues: First World War soldiers with amputations who were receiving treatment at The Royal Pavilion during its time as a Military Hospital from 1916 to 1920.
This exhibition was made possible thanks to My Charity – University Hospitals Sussex, the Trust’s dedicated charity. Please consider making a donation today to help us continue supporting patients and staff across our hospitals.
